Introduction and ASCII Selfie

    Hi! I'm Maria, a junior transfer student from SUNY Broome Community College in Upstate New York. I recently finished a remote summer job with Vector Marketing as a sales representative. I have one sibling, a younger brother who is a freshman here at UT, and we do almost everything together. 

    As an advertising and public relations major, I'm excited about this course because I love creating aesthetically pleasing media and creatively portraying the desired message. I took a college-level graphic design course in high school that I thoroughly enjoyed, and learned valuable design and software skills that I am looking forward to applying to this course.

    While taking FMX 210, I expect to become more familiar with Mac devices and software that I am not yet proficient in. I look forward to learning from a professor with real-world experience in design and other related fields. I hope to build upon my current skill set and have fun experimenting with new concepts that will be useful in my future career.
